Never Shampoo again!??!

Yup thats what they said!!! I am an avid QVC, HSN watcher, only for the beauty stuff ofcourse. I like to see what the new hot products are and since these stations sell a million of these things its good to know when they are highlighting a certain product because if I have that product in my store as well then I know it will sell good!!!

So last night I turn on QVC and they have their Living Clean segment on so I kicked back ready to see what the beauty items they may have that I might just have to have for myself!! I found three that I really wanted but ofcourse I am not going to buy them on QVC, not when I can find them much cheaper on Ebay. One of the products was by Chaz Dean. It is called Wen. This is what QVC says about this product:

Formulated without detergents or sodium laurel sulfate, this hydrating trio from WEN by Chaz Dean cares for your tresses with natural ingredients. Fig Cleansing Conditioner is a harmonious blend of herbs that won't strip your hair's natural oils. It can also be used as a leave-in conditioner or shaving cream. Fig Oil replenishes moisture, shine, and body. And Sweet Almond Mint Styling Creme makes for a fantastically refreshing finish to your 'do.Made in USA.
16-oz fig cleansing conditioner
4-oz fig oil

Ok so I sat and watched this because my 3 year old has this crazy curly hair. I am talking complete ringlets and it is super hard to take care of so I am always on the lookout for something that would work well for her hair. I had been told for curly hair that I needed a cleanser, not a shampoo so that it didnt dry the hair and helped with the curl, so this stuff sounded great. BUT, I dont know if it is just my entire life of using shampoo, or my serious addition to anything Goldwell, but I just find it really hard to believe that your hair would look really clean and not need any other styling products except for these.

They are expensive at $58 for the set of three, but that is really nothing especially when I think back to last week and I dropped over a hundred dollars on Goldwell products for my 3 year old and I. Shhhhhh dont tell my husband!!! He would probably flip knowing I use a $18 dollar shampoo, a $15 dollar conditioner, and a $18 dollar detangler from Lanza on our 3 year old! So spending that much on something for her hair that would help bathtime go a bit smoother as I try to detangle her mop is worth any amount of money to me!

I just wonder, no shampoo ever again. The guy that invented it Mr. Dean said he hasnt used shampoo in his hair since like 1997! It make me want to say YUCK but his hair did look nice. I think I will have to think about it a bit more before I make the splurge!!!

The other items that I just HAD to have was Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes. I am super fair and am always looking for something that will give me enough color so that I will not glow in the dark!! There was no way I was going to spend $40 bucks or more on a huge pack of these incase they didnt work so off to Ebay I went and found a seller that was selling only 12 packaged towelettes for $12 bucks!! Thats what I am talking about! So now I can try it and if I dont like it I havent wasted a ton of money! So now I am excited about my purchase and cant wait for them to get here!!!

My next purchase was BriteSmile To Go Teeth Whitening Pens. Another thing I am always trying to find something I like is a teeth whitening product. I cant stand those little strips, I get lazy and never put them on the bottom so you end up with an uneven color. I bet most people that buy any kind of strips always have more bottoms left than tops!!! So these pens looked pretty cool. You can use them any time, no strips and they freshen your breath. Sounds good to me!!! So off to Ebay I go again!!! They were selling 2 pens for $30 plus shipping on QVC and I found a set of 3 on Ebay for the same price! Woo hoo! Im happy. Ofcourse if I dont like them then I cant send them back like I could at QVC but that is just a risk I am willing to take!!!!

There are always things I want. Ofcourse I have to keep one of everything that I get in for my store!! I will be getting in Chanel Lip Palettes really soon! Cant wait although I dont know if I can justify keeping one for myself with the price of these. They are after all Chanel!!! I am in the process right now of testing out Chanel nail polish to see if it is worth its $19 price tag. My mother and I both have our toes dripping in Chanel!!! Normally I am an OPI kinda girl but if I am putting this in my store for $17.99 with discontinued colors then I want to like it and know that it is worth the price!!! Of course part of the price is the name. You arent going to find Chanel on clearance for 99 cents thats for sure!!!

Ut ohhhh! QVC has Nick Chavez on!!! Im off to find Plump n' Thick hairspray!

Cant help but be Too Faced!

Ok, so my title is probably a bit misleading, but since my passion is makeup and more makeup, I thought I would start up a Blog about just that!

I actually own my own business on Ebay, I know people look at me weird when I tell them that I actually make a living by owning an Ebay store and selling high end cosmetics on there but I do!

I think that sometimes people are intimidated by high end cosmetics. I know I was. I actually thought for the longest time that buying the more expensive items at the drug store was high end! I have learned alot since then and if I am to sit down and compare the high end brands against the drug store ones, well lets just say I would NEVER think of buying any sort of cosmetic or skin care in a drug store again! There is a HUGE difference in quality when comparing the two. Of course there are better brands than others and brands that work better for some people that others.

Right now one of my personal favorites when it comes to cosmetics is Too Faced. I have to say I was first drawn into their image. They have fun products with funky names. I just received a HUGE shipment of their Peep Show Eye Shadow Duos! Of course I have to keep one of each color for myself and I love....Love...LOVE them!!! Great pigment, they stay on, dont crease and come in a huge assortment of colors!!!

I have them listed in lots of 10 in my store at auction they are selling for over $45 for the entire set which is great considering they retail for $17 each!!! Ouch!! Now there is the down fall of high end cosmetics!!! The price!! But in my store you can get them for $4.50 or less!!! Now THAT is a price that I can live with!!!

Eyeshadows arent my only passion from Too Faced, I LOVE their blush and lip glosses!!! I bet I have almost every lipgloss they have ever made!!! When ever I get a new shipment in I just have to keep one for myself!!! Their Lip Injection Plumping glosses are incredible, along with there Pucker Polish Lip Stains and their Juicy Jewels!!

I just started offering all these items in wholesale lots. I have been wanting to into the wholesale business for a while now. It is so hard to find a good wholesaler that arent charging outrageous prices!!

If anyone wants to check out my store it is www.belasboutique.com I am in the process of remodeling too!!! I will be having a grand opening when my new store design is finished!!!
